The food was good and the service was also good. My husband didn't care for his Manhatten or I would give it a higher rating. Everything else was fine.

Sadly I think the quality of the food has gone downhill. Sometimes the food is really good but depending on the cook I have also been served home fries that are laden with grease. The prices are good but the quality is hit or miss

Visiting and looking for comfort food and this place hits the mark. Had the combo appetizer and country fried steak and mashed potatoes. Others had the Reuben, chicken bacon ranch wrap, pizza burger, and monoco breakfast. All was great and service was quick and good. Highly recommended.

It was a decent place, very busy, my friend ordered his steak medium well, it came with blood coming out of it. He ordered hashbrowns with no onion, it came loaded with them. The owners did take his meal off the ticket for the way the Steak was cooked. Otherwise it was a family friendly restaurant.

Excellent staff and VERY good homecooked style food. I love these little gems when traveling. My only gripe is that the waitstaff did not wear masks inside. 😷 take this into consideration if you have pre-existing that might make you more susceptible to Covid. Its very difficult to eat with a mask. Outside seating is limited and designed for community - two giant tables pushed together. No breaks between seating

I liked this place.

We chose not to do fast food on our trip. We were very pleasantly surprised by quality and quantity of $5.99 lunch specials. We were seated as quickly as we were ready, served promptly but not rushed. Will stop again.

Really good food and friendly staff, big portion sizes too. Accidentally left a pacifier there for a few minutes, went back and they had found it and was nice enough to even wash it off for us with some good hot water. Great place! Would reccomend and visit again!

Food and service is great and prices are reasonable. Desert is included with most meals. Reason for taking off one star is they usually pre cook fried chicken and fish when its busy, mostly on weekends resulting in luke warm plates of food.

Everything was okay. Not more, not less. Well, service was quick. Nice decor.

Menu is extensive and has a lot of pictures of the food. Service was EXCEPTIONAL and the waitress was so kind as to run out to us and return a forgotten item to our car before we left. Excellent flavors and speedy service. Prices are quite affordable. Bathrooms were a little worse for wear, but that's the only criticism I can offer. Visit this restaurant over a fast-food chain!

The food here is very good and astonishingly inexpensive. Their chili is probably the best I've ever tried (haven't had any that good since my grandma's), as are their omelettes & coleslaw (I don't even like coleslaw). Great pies, daily all you can eat specials, they have a huge menu & you can get breakfast all day. Basically everything here is phenomenal. Clean restaurant with friendly employees. The fact that they don't serve real butter with the meals is the only downfall.

Wife's omelette was over cooked. Scourched on the bottom. Then she had to get up and walk over to ask the waitress who was sitting at the counter and ask for the cucumber sauce that went with it. Mind you the waitress never once came back to see if everything was all right . So she drops off the sauce heads back to counter while Wife puts sauce on gyros omelette and then spits it out. The waitress had given her blue cheese dressing. Again wife got up told waitress ,she laughs and offers to have the cook redo it. Being in food service herself she kindly refuses the offer. Never have we ever had such poor service in our lives. And to make it worse she tried to charge her for it. Place was not even busy and I see why.

While in the area I occasionally stop by and grab a bite to eat here. If I am anywhere near Pontiac on their all to you can eat broasted chicken night I make sure to visit Country-wide and endulging in some delicious broasted chicken. UUUUMMMMMM Goood. An attractive family restaurant that greats you with friendly service and serves some great meals. Their daily specials are not to be missed and as I said earlier, their broasted chicken is just awesome.

It was very nice. We had prompt services. Waitress kept returning to check on us and to see everything was ok and our drinks was fill the whole time. Nice friendly place.

Great place to eat. I found it while working in the area and drove an hour and fifteen minutes to go eat there on the weekend with my family.

Very inviting, friendly staff, and the waitresses are very cordial and attentive. Full breakfast menu served any time of day. I had perch filets and they were quite good. Easy access from I-55 in Atlanta Illinois. Definitely on my Keepers list. Clean and Fresh.

The food here is amazing and the prices are even better. I will be making this a stop everytime I take a trip to or from Chicago.

Their specials on Friday night are walleye or fried catfish both of which are delicious and you get a bunch of sides. The service is great. Highly recommend! And they even give you your choice of ice cream to top it off. A+!

Ordered the Catfish special on Sunday. 2 fillets a good 6 inches wide and 10 inches long and 1-2 inches thick. Fries, green beans, sweet tea. Excellent.

Love this small town, everyone is family atmosphere. The staff is pleasant and attentive, always seated quickly and orders are taken very shortly after. The food here is always good and served hot. We love the friendliness and the owners are so nice and have gone above and beyond for our kids. We order here often and are never disappointed.
